I am beyond excited to announce that I am now a podcast co-host! Stella Abril of the Change Is Now Podcast asked me to co-host with her for the next 2 seasons of her podcast. Stella is a Remake Ambassador, founder of Arizona Sustainable Apparel Association (AZSAA), and a passionate sustainable fashion advocate. I have always admired Stella’s dedication and hard work within the sustainable fashion community so when she invited me to co-host with her I knew I had to accept. This was my first venture into the podcasting world so I was slightly nervous, but mainly, I was incredibly honored for the opportunity to co-host alongside Stella and be able to interview such inspiring guests. The first series Stella and I are hosting is The Unspoken Truths of Fast Fashion. In this series we interview guests from all different walks of the fashion industry, including activists, garment workers, and Remake Ambassadors. We dive into issues in the fashion industry such as garment worker exploitation, the environmental impacts of fast fashion, and sustainable supply chains. I learned so much from the wealth of knowledge that each guest that we interviewed brought to the podcast, and I hope you do too! Enjoy!
