Worthwhile Paper is a collection of lively screen printed paper goods for lovers of nature, magic and meaningful design. Worthwhile Paper is based in Ypsilanti, Michigan and owned and operated by the wife and husband duo, Kristen and Steve Drozdowski. Each Worthwhile item starts with original hand lettering and illustrations, all designed by Kristen, which are then screen printed, by Steve, using earth-friendly recycled papers and water based inks. Worthwhile designs are created with the goal of bringing positivity and beauty into the world. In every piece of their work you will find some combination of simple shapes, bold patterns, gentle symbolism, inspiration from nature, and messages about inner wisdom, healing and love. Worthwhile Paper prides themselves on being as sustainable and eco-conscious as possible. They use water-based screen printing inks and 100% recycled paper from a Michigan paper mill that operates on 100% hydropower. Additionally, they also gang up cards on larger sized sheets to save energy and materials and use leftover ink from other jobs to make new inks, all to save resources and create less waste.
