KINdom is a woman owned business guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals. To help preserve our beautiful Mother Earth, KINdom uses materials that are sustainable, natural, recycled, reclaimed, and indigenous materials, fair trade-made in ethical and compliant facilities. To prevent further depletion of resources, they use recycled materials, such as rPET textiles made from recycled plastic bottles, and deadstock materials that otherwise would end up in a landfill or incinerator. KINdom takes sustainability into account in all levels of their brand. All their branding materials are compostable. They use natural cotton labels printed with water base ink to reduce pollution to the planet and unbleached hang tags connected by natural jute twine with a metal pin. To reduce harmful plastics in the environment, KINdom uses a vegetable-based bio plastic to pack and store their products in. KINdom promotes closed-loop production by upcycling, and fostering partnerships and collaborations with like-minded individuals or companies for a more circular economy, in fashion and beyond. KINdom is apart of The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act. They are committed to conducting business in a responsible, ethical and lawful manner and require their contractors and suppliers to be certified compliant by a third party auditing organization that is aligned with their strict ethical standards and requirements, such as Fair Trade LA.
