Mira Blackman is a textile artist based in Oakland, CA. All her pieces are designed, cut, and sewn in small batches, one piece at a time. Mira's products use ethically sourced, hand dyed California grown organic cotton essentials. Every piece is cut and sewn in California and dyed by hand in Mira's backyard studio. Each piece is designed to minimize waste and honor the life of the beautiful, storied textiles used. Every element from the temperature that day, to the way the wind is blowing, affects the way Mira's tie dye pieces come out.
