The Palo Santo Cone Incense made by Karacotta Ceramics sells itself as soon as folks smell it! Ethically sourced from Peru, this palo santo has been aging for 3-7 years, concentrating all of the natural oils into each cone. Each beautiful box contains 12 cones, sealed to preserve freshness, and a little card on how to burn. Each cone should be lit for no more than five seconds, then allowed to fully burn (about 10-20 minutes).

Karacotta Ceramics is a Austin, Texas based small business created by Kara Pendl. Kara is the designer, artist and creative director behind Karacotta Ceramics. Kara grew up exploring in the woods, adventuring in nature, and creating with organic materials. These experiences heavily influence the unique aesthetic and processes in her pottery and work. Karacotta Ceramics are foremost designed with functionality in mind; each piece is handmade on the wheel, to achieve a simple, modern, organic aesthetic. This unique craftsmanship ensures no two pieces are created exactly the same, with slight variations in shape, size and glaze. During the creation process, each Karacotta piece is touched no less than ten times, equaling several hours of specific attention. After the design stage, each piece of clay is weighed, thrown on the wheel, left to dry overnight, trimmed, sponged and sanded, bone-dried, bisque fired, sponged and sanded again, glaze fired, and finally inspected, stamped, and delivered. Karacotta believes in genuine crafts(wo)manship and does not cut corners for production-sake. They locally curate their tools, clay-bodies, and glazes from the best of the best, or they make them from scratch themselves. All of Karacotta's smudge bundles are made with ethically sourced, organic herbs and organic cotton string to finish off the bundle.
