Amano Studio is a small, woman owned jewelry brand and production studio based in Sonoma California founded by Seana Pedelaborde. It was Seana's dream to use design as a tool of economic development in Mexican artisan communities. Seana leads a team of makers in Sonoma California in partnership with other American craftspeople and manufacturers to create an unique jewelry line with an emphasis on quality materials. Seana draws inspiration for her jewelry designs from vintage fashion, the night sky and the beauty of the California landscape. Amano Studio believes in people before profit and loving our Mother Earth. They are a zero waste production operation and reuse everything from packing supplies to jewelry materials. The metals used are recycled and many of their components are vintage salvaged. They also use compostable "plastic" bags made of plant material and biodegradable packaging made of recycled papers. Amano Studio recognizes that without a strong team, the business can not thrive. They provide their workers with paid time off, respectable wages, profit sharing, and the flexibility to take care of one's family. Amano Studio is also extremely passionate about giving back. They have an ongoing campaign to support their local homeless shelter, Sonoma Overnight Support.
